What services do you offer?

We provide expert snow plowing, on and off-site snow relocation, de-icing services, snow shoveling and/or snow blowing services. Our clients include local governments and municipalities, commercial properties such as shopping malls and office complexes, and managed residential properties.

Are the services you provide safe for the environment?

GLSS specializes in environmentally-safe snow and ice removal. We use a combination of plowing and chemicals (like liquid magnesium and beet juice) to do the job, insuring that the surrounding soil and plant growth are not harmed in the process.

Why great lakes snow systems (glss)?

Let's take the "what if" approach. Let's say as your contractor, we are alerted that snow is forecast within 48 hours. We will contact you with either a fax or e-mail alerting you to the situation, and you will be contacted after the event. This allows us to receive feedback from you on how we are doing and determine if the plan of attack needs to be altered. Or you may need correspondence on exactly when the snow stopped and when did we arrive? Did we clear your loading docks as required by 5am? Did you know your night crew failed to move their cars to one location as instructed at the beginning of the season?
